At this moment we are looking for a Director of Consumer Sales.
The Position
The Consumer Sales Business Unit is a global organization spread across multiple countries. The ultimate purpose of the role is to develop businesses across the Consumer space and to profitably grow the company’s business in EMEA through sales and marketing. Possessing a wide client contact base and engaging with C-level executives, you will work with regional managers in developing business opportunities with new and existing customers.
Key responsibilities
• Provide strategic direction for the EMEA consumer market presence and achieve
sales revenue targets by actively developing new and existing accounts in these
regions
• Build a strong ecosystem of partners to best sell the company’s full suite of
products across various vertical businesses
• Provide inspirational leadership to a team of regional sales managers, with a
strong focus on organizational improvement and change
• Manage key relationships, driving customer intimacy and participating in closing
strategic opportunities
• Drive close collaboration with the EMEA marketing teams
The Candidate
Key requirements
• Substantial EMEA regional sales and/or account management experience in the
consumer space, within a global technology business
• Solid understanding of the entire marketing spectrum and its relationship to
sales
• Demonstrable success in collaboratively managing and motivating a matrixed
team of sales and marketing professionals through periods of organizational
change
• Proven ability to leading by example and execute all phases of sales and
operations
• A track record in managing complex partnerships and alliances
• A formidable knowledge of sales trends in the European and India markets
• Ability to study and assess markets and identify opportunities and threats
• Demonstrated ability to work with customers, determine their requirements,
secure additional business, define and assist in solving problems, and ensure
their total satisfaction
• Highly developed organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload in a
resource constrained environment
• Outstanding oral and written communications skills in English. Other European
languages would be advantageous
• Open to regular travel regionally or internationally
